Yuan Chen

Yuan Chen, Ph.D., is currently a Senior Fellow in the Department of Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics at Genentech. Yuan has more than 10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in the DMPK discipline working at Roche and Genentech. She has been the DMPK project lead for many discoveries and early development projects and contributed signifi cantly to the clinical candidate nomination and fi ling of IND to the regulatory authorities. Yuan has broad experience in fi eld of in vitro and in vivo drug metabolism and investigative ADME to understand mechanism of drug disposition. Her recent research focuses are on mechanistic-based modeling (PBPK model) for the prediction of human PK and drug-drug interaction.
